After the Second World War there was a fatherless society because many fathers stayed on during the war. After that came the motherless society, because women pushed into the labor market. After all, the society was siblingless, since family size in general continued to shrink. Now the society is childless.
Of course, all of this is a bit exaggerated, but a fundamental problem becomes clear and one asks oneself: What is actually going on in our society? How could these shifts and upheavals come about?
Here's what's going on: you've lost sight of the value of family. Children are only seen as ballast that burdens the cash register and makes long journeys impossible. And parents are just annoying nags for the children who never have time anyway and leave the upbringing to the "trained professionals" anyway.
Assuming responsibility in the family, cultivating mutual affection, cultivating community as a family, uncompromising support for one another and the like - none. The long-term consequences of this departure from the biblical family model will be catastrophic.
Let's go to the first two chapters of the Bible: On the sixth day of creation, God told man some basic things: There are male and female. They should have children and multiply. The man who has his own father and mother will leave them and form a solid, unbreakable unit with a woman. This is the ancient and divine "model". And we want to stay with that.
